SITE PLAN FOR COUNCIL

Home ยป Site Plan for Council

Here's how to draw a site plan for council:

1.

Begin by ensuring the plan is drawn to scale, with a recommended scale of 1:200.

2.

Clearly depict all boundaries of the property, including dimensions.

3.

Position any existing or proposed buildings on the site, indicating the minimum distances between proposed structures and the front, side, and rear boundaries.

4.

Show the location of regulated trees on the site or neighboring land that might be affected by the project.

5.

Outline the plan for stormwater discharge from the property.

6.

Detail the location of any retaining walls, including necessary cut and/or fill specifications.

7.

Mark driveways connecting to adjoining roads and allocate spaces for both occupants and visitors.

8.

Indicate the placement of street fixtures such as stobie poles and side entry pits adjacent to the property.

9.

If the land is sloped, include contours of the terrain and proposed building floor levels in relation to the water table, if applicable.
